Jane Boutelle has over twenty years of experience working on high
level product and brand development. Prior to helping PI, Jane
lead the team that launched Intuit's market-leading QuickBooks
accounting package. Prior to working on the Quickbooks launch
Jane worked as a product and brand manager at market-leading companies
like Intuit, and Apple Computers.

Ed Harris
Ed Harris has been involved in the computer industry for nearly
40 years as a successful entrepreneur, business owner, and consultant.
Prior to co-founding Precision Information in 1998 with Joe Saari,
Ed co-founded Persoft, a microcomputer company that develops and
markets terminal emulation and connectivity software products
worldwide. Persoft consistently was ranked as one of the top 100-microcomputer
software companies from 1983 until 1996 when it was sold. Ed also
served for over five years as a director of both the Software
Publishers Association (Washington, D.C.) and the Wisconsin Software
Publishers Association (Madison, Wis.).

Mark Laufman
Mark is a Managing Director of Robert W. Baird & Co, Inc.,
a full-service investment banking and wealth management firm servicing
clients in the United States and Europe. In addition to working
as a professional money manager for Baird for nearly 30 years,
Mark has helped several successful start up companies to grow
by working as an early stage investor and / or board member.

Larry Landweber
Larry is the former Chair of the Computer Science Department at
the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he taught as a professor
for thirty-three years. Larry has been an advisor for other high-tech
companies such as GUILD.com, QuiQ, ePit, Monoket, and Broadquest.
Randy Pitzer
Randy Pitzer is the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager
of Edelman Technology Practice in Chicago. Randy has over twenty
years of experience in the marketing and public relations field
helping successful high tech and software companies grow. Prior
to working at Edelman, Randy lead the marketing and PR efforts
at Spyglass and also worked at Ogilvy.

Dennis is a Certified Financial Planner and certified tax
expert who has nearly 30 years of experience as an educator, editor,
and personal finance consultant. Prior to joining Precision Information,
Dennis served as a lead editor in a company providing continuing
education products for financial professionals nationwide. Dennis
is a member of several associations, including the Institute of
Certified Financial Planners and the International Association
for Financial Planning. He has published several articles and
presented a number of seminars on personal finance. For five years,
he was also a featured speaker at Money Watch Live.

Steve
Royko, Director of Marketing and Business Development
Steve
has a background in sales and marketing and has been consulting
startups since 1999. He has developed over a dozen business and
marketing plans independently and with teammates. While receiving
his MBA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and after graduation,
Steve worked at the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich,
providing business planning and marketing consulting services
to clients in the early stages of business development.

Jeff Horn
Jeff
Bail
Jeff Bail is a film major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Jeff has worked as a programmer for Metavante (formerly M&I
Data Services), the U.S. government, and has done some freelance
web design work. He is proficient in Java, Unix, HTML, Flash,
and Photoshop. He is responsible for HTML coding, website uploading,
and making sure PI's online and software interfaces are compatible.

Aaron Berken
Aaron Berken is the lead programmer who designed, developed and
enhanced PI's award-winning Encyclopedia of Personal Finance.
Aaron graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with
bachelors' degrees in computer engineering and computer science.
Among his many jobs in the computer field, Berken has worked at
Datagration, LLC and Plexus Technology Group.

Jeff Horn
An experienced web designer, Jeff Horn graduated as valedictorian
of Milwaukee's Marquette University in 1988 with degrees in computer
science and mathematics. He also holds a master's degree in mathematics
and a Ph.D. in computer science (with a specialization in optimization).
He has been working as a lead programmer developing on-line database
applications for over eleven years. Horn led the development of
an online version of The Encyclopedia
of Personal Finance.
Jeff also worked as a database consultant for Matrix Management,
Inc., Dow Agrosciences and the University of Wisconsin-Madison,
where he developed Internet, Intranet, Extranet and other computer
applications.

CJ Dwyer, CFP
CJ Dwyer is a Certified Financial Planner with over twelve
years of experience in the financial services field. CJ has extensive
experience reviewing and editing investment education materials
for companies such as Precision Information and EXAMCO, Inc. CJ
worked as an agent for Northwestern Mutual Life during which time
he also acquired his Life, Health, and Accident Insurance licenses
and as his Series Six and Sixty Three NASD certificates. CJ helps
Precision Information verify the technical accuracy of its material
as well as helping the company to develop outlines for new content.

Doris Green
Doris Green is a seasoned author and editor who has written widely
on business topics for firms such as Credit Union National Association
and Magna Publications. Currently, she publishes Wisconsin Community
Banking News for Community Bankers of Wisconsin. Green authors
articles for the Encyclopedia and assists with copyediting. She
holds two degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison: a
B.A. in Education and an M.A. in Journalism.

Mike Marcoe
Mike Marcoe graduated with a degree in English with an emphasis
on Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
While in college Mike worked as copy editor and distribution manager
for The Badger Herald. Mike currently helps PI to classify, format,
and copy edit the thousands of articles, tutorials, definitions,
and quizzes which compose The Encyclopedia of Personal Finance.
In addition, Mike is an editor for the University of Wisconsin-Extension,
where he works with professors to design and edit course books
in a variety of fields, including business and education.

Mike Palermo, JD, CFP
An estate planning specialist with over twelve-years experience
preparing wills, trusts, and family estate plans, Mike serves
as a writer and editor for PI. A Certified Financial Planner
for ten years, Mike also spends his time working as an attorney
and an adjunct instructor for the University of Kentucky, where
he developed three consumer-oriented courses on wills, trusts,
and long-term care planning.

Dan Rutherford
The managing editor of Kiplinger.com, Dan brings over nine years
experience writing and editing personal finance articles for newspapers
and websites to help PI with technical and copy editing. Dan served
as the banking/finance reporter for Tulsa World and as the Assistant
City Editor for the Muskogee Daily Phoenix. Dan holds a B.A. in
Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.

Jeff Kappen provides general research and fact finding for PI's
marketing research team. Jeff is a graduate of Beloit College,
where he earned distinction as a triple major in Russian, French
and International Relations. Kappen also works as an export agent
at DEC International.

Mark J. Knickelbine
With a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. in English, both from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mark has more than 20 years of
experience as a writer and editor. He served previously as Senior
Editor for The Institute for Academic Excellence, and has prepared
training programs for Scholastic, MetaMetrics, and The American
Red Cross. In addition to assisting with other marketing projects,
Mark also serves as chief copyeditor for the Encyclopedia.

Michael Mahoney
Michael Mahoney's diverse writing experience includes marketing
and editorial projects for TDS Telecom, United Way of Dane County,
and the Center on Education and Work. He has a degree in Journalism
from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has served as editor-in-chief
for Wisconsin Sports Journal and Sights and Sounds. Mike has also
authored various articles for the Encyclopedia on a wide range
of finance and investment topics.
